What format are the photos in?
The majority of ImportShots.com photos are in JPG format. All images shown are downloadable through our subscription service or via single purchase at a suitable resolution useable for web based work (ie: 72dpi up to 1024x768). If you need the highest res shots at 300dpi then you can purchase those versions separately along with professional prints and other products. Further, some images may be in Paint Shop Pro format (PSP) as they contain transparency layers. These can usually be read by Photoshop also.
I paid for the hi-res version of an image but I haven't received it yet. When will I get it?
Hi-res images purchased from the drop down products list are processed manually. We will send your order via email or cd (Depending on the number ordered) as soon as we can (Usually within 2 business days). All standrd res images shown on the site are downloaded immediately.
Do you add photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We are continually adding new photos sets all the time. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by ImportShots.com and it's partners. In the future we may consider this.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the ImportShots.com photos that I download?
Yes. While ImportShots.com offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Please see our terms of Use for specific details.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, a monthly or yearly membership allows you access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge up to the limits of the subscriptions which are:
Month subscription = 1 month, 30 downloads
Yearly subscription = 1 year, 300 downloads
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
I bought a subscription, but it says I'm not activated, what do I do?
On rare occasions our merchant processors may not send the information of your transaction to our system, so your account may not be automatically activated. Therefore, if you have made a purchase of our yearly subscription and you are not able to access photos ImportShots.com using your details, send a support request.
